Tamaishiki Annie Sound~Work on English pronunciation every morning~
Speak English and work on pronunciation. The main purpose is to have the students become familiar with English pronunciation. The students will develop a habit of "pronouncing clearly and confidently" while not worrying about their pronunciation being perfect. By doing it first thing in the morning, this also enables the students to switch into a study mode.
Gain confidence by studying for Eiken.
We hold classes to prepare students for the Japanese English proficiency test. Instead of focusing on passing the test itself, we focus on building the students self-confidence by letting them work hard to achieve their goals. The objective is to give students a sense of "self-efficacy," which children in Japan tend to lack these days.
Speak Out Personal/Speak Out Jr~speaking English and having international exchanges on a routine basis~
<Speak Out Jr>
Using ZOOM, the students interact with students who are about the same age from other countries. Through these interactions, students will come into contact with English on a daily basis and realize the need for English. Students from Nara Ikuei and foreign schools can inspire and motivate each other while developing a cross-cultural understanding. Making friends with international students may also motivate the students to study and practice English more.
<Speak Out Personal>
In each of the English classes, students take both a group lesson with classmates taught by a Japanese lecturer and a one-on-one lesson with a Filipino lecturer. Students will effectively learn English through the class contents with visual and auditory aids in the group lesson and work on output during the personal lesson.

Take programming classes and develop mathematical logic.
In the future, students will live in a world where "singularity", which is the moment when Artificial Intelligence exceeds the intelligence of all human beings, will be imminent.
This programming class allows students to develop the skills needed for their future by utilizing IT literacy with mathematical logic.
Developing descriptive skills with Literacy S.D.W.(Science with descriptive writing).
S.D.W. presents a lot of "why?" questions to students. They don't just memorize the content, but they think on their own and "describe" the scientific facts. This innovative science learning material is introduced in classes for senior students (from 10~12 years old), and for its curriculum with the flipped classroom strategy, students study class contents in advance before coming to school. This will be helpful for them to get used to self-study.
